There is an exciting new job opportunity at the John Lewis Partnership Archives; we are looking to recruit a new Collections Assistant to undertake archive tasks under the supervision of the Archivist.
The successful candidate will be expected to assist with projects related to the preservation of the collections and ensure the safety and integrity of the archive. Prepare and digitise images and documents to support preservation and commercial activities. Work with the Heritage Services coordinator preparing and delivering information for research enquiries, social media posts and exhibitions and office administration when required. The candidate will also be required to supervise visitors and volunteers. This position may suit a candidate thinking of applying to the archives course.
