Dear colleagues,
We invite you to the first Ageing and Generations Network (AGENET) Meeting.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, 16th August from 19:00-20:30
in SÖ-D320,
part of the 15th Biennial European Association of Social Anthropologists
Conference in Stockholm.
AGENET is a new EASA Network for social anthropologists engaged in
teaching, research and applied work involving older adults,
inter/multi-generational relationships, and life-course perspectives.
Attendees of the meeting will learn more about the breadth of ageing
research from colleagues in Europe and further afield. We will also start
to plan future collaborative activities for the Network. This is an
excellent opportunity to get involved in the organisation of an EASA
Network.
Additionally, come and see the first AGENET panel, "Staying, moving,
(re)settling: transitioning practices, actors and places of care in later
life"! The panel will take place on Thursday, 16th August in SÖ-E497 from
9:00-13:00.
We look forward to seeing you in Stockholm!
With kind regards,
Matthew Lariviere, Megha Amrith, and Denise de Waal (on behalf of the
AGENET Network convenors)
