Dear colleagues,
We're looking for content for the next edition of A Year in Archives, our annual publication for and about the archives sector. The aim of the publication is to showcase our sector and its position within the community, and it is designed to give archives a voice and be a useful tool for communicating with different audiences. Like last year's publication<http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/archives-sector/projects-and-programmes/a-year-in-archives-2017/>, the paper version will be accompanied by an online one, to help maximise its audience base.
For the 2018 edition, we're looking for case studies around the following themes: Trust, Enrichment, Openness, Digital, Resilience and Impact, which all come from our vision and action plan<http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/archives-sector/projects-and-programmes/strategic-vision-for-archives/>, Archives Unlocked. Please do take another look through these two documents, with your service's collections, audiences and projects in mind, and send us examples that you feel fit under those headings. We're also looking for content to feature in the poster section of the fold-up document, which will include stats, images, interesting facts, quotes from users, etc. Images (copyright permitting) are especially welcome.
Please note that, since space is limited, we cannot guarantee that any particular case study or other material will make it into the finished edition.
If you'd like to contribute anything, please send it to your Sector Development Manager or directly to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> and [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
Kind regards,
Meg
