We are seeking an archivist to manage and develop our outstanding creative arts archives (literary, performing arts and visual arts archives), and to make them more accessible for researchers, students and visitors to the John Rylands Library. This is a full-time, permanent position.
You will be a graduate with a professional archive qualification. You will be committed to exploiting of Special Collections for research, teaching and learning, and public engagement. You will have excellent communication and team-working skills; experience of managing literary, performing arts and/or visual arts archives; and a strong commitment to developing a broad knowledge of Special Collections materials across formats, for the benefit of our audiences.
Salary: £31,604 to 38,833 per annum (according to relevant experience).
