Teaching Associate in German Studies:
Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Associate in German Studies in the School of Cultures, Languages and Area Studies. The School is a leading centre for the study of Culture, Film and Media, Modern Languages and American and Canadian studies. We offer first degrees (BA) and both taught and research postgraduate degrees (MA, MRes, MSc and PhD) and deliver internationally recognised research across our departments. We also work closely with The University of Nottingham's campuses in China and Malaysia.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent oral and written communication skills in both German and English to join the Modern Languages and Cultures team. The role holder will contribute to curriculum development and have responsibility for syllabus design and content, as well as convening and teaching core undergraduate modules in German language and content. The successful candidate will supervise undergraduate dissertations in areas appropriate to their expertise and qualification.
Candidates must hold a professional qualification in teaching German/German Language.
This position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.Job share arrangements may be considered.
