Dear all,
A quick reminder that the Library Learning Festival, LibraryCamp Camp,
is open for bookings.
https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/librarycamp-camp-2018-tickets-45970518057
Come and join us for an affordable weekend Library Learning Festival for
anyone working in libraries or information services!
Everyone who books gets either space to pitch a tent Saturday night, or
a room in a bunkhouse, but there are cheap hotels nearby too :)
For more information: https://librarycampcamp.wordpress.com
The programme will be formed largely by the attendees (unconference
style), so it will not be 100% set until the festival itself. Rough
timings can be seen below, but will be subject to tweaking…
Some general activities we aim to do are:
Open space or unconference style workshops & discussions (whoever turns
up can pitch a session).
Learning games (see / share examples and create your own).
Analogue “Storify” (we’ll create a book of analogue / offline tweets,
comments, pictures, etc throughout and share it afterwards).
Micro-teach tent (plan a short lesson, deliver it, and receive
peer-feedback on your session).
Zine / chapbook making
Evolving schedule assuming two (main!) parallel activities – very much
subject to change. The more attendees, the more options will be under
each time slot:
Throughout the festival:
Analogue “Storify” activity (The Den).
Outdoor reflective exercises (across the site).
(If demand is there – quiet “writing camp” area)
