Hi Eleanor,
We use the Kodak i2900 with ABBYY FineReader 14 - this combines a book-edge scanner with an automatic document feeder that can take up to 200 sheets and is lightning-fast. I wholeheartedly recommend it. The only drawback is the cost!
All the best,
Carol

Subject: AbbyyFine Reader v.12 & scanners
Hello,
Our current scanners (Plustek OpticBook 4800) are very old now and aren't working with our updated version of AbbyyFine Reader (version 12, but we might be going over to version 14 in the near future).
Does anyone currently use AbbyyFine Reader version 12/upwards, and have a recommendation for a flatbed scanner that is compatible?
Many thanks,
Ellie
