I agree with previous respondees: you'd have to be in your 40s to have any first hand memory of the Cold War so why would you produce text that assumes everyone knows what it was?
Also, a plea to remember that in many countries (Vietnam, Korea to name just two) the Cold War wasn't cold at all.
