Lincoln International Business School, part of the University of Lincoln are currently seeking to appoint two subject specialist external examiners in languages, the first subject being Italian and the second in French.
The two languages form part of the optional modules for 3 programmes BA (Hons) International Business Management; BA (Hons) International Tourism Management and BSc (Hons) Events Management, in addition we offer a Languages Short Courses in the Languages Award.
The Italian external will be required as an immediate start due to a change in circumstances by the current incumbent.
The French external will be required to commence their duties in September 2019, with a view to the 19/20 academic year being their first full year. This vacancy is due to the current incumbents tenure expiring.
There is a commitment to attend a pre-Board and a full Exam Board at the University of Lincoln, in July. The current remuneration for this is £450

• Detail any experience within internal examination duties such as validation, periodic reviews etc
• Details of your research activity
• Please include your employment dates and details of your teaching responsibilities
• We are looking to appoint now with a view to the successful candidate taking up their role in the Summer 2018
There are a number of the usual requirements
• Have had no formal relations with The Lincoln International Business School for over 5 years
• Currently hold no more than two other external examining post
• Be currently engaged in teaching in the relevant subject area, at a UK HEI.
• It would be extremely helpful if I could receive CV’s no later than 20th July 2018 for the Italian vacancy and 27th July 2018 for the French vacancy
