FORE School of Management, New Delhi:

FORE School of Management jointly with Department of Management Studies, I.I.T. Delhi is organizing an International conference on 14th and 15th December 2018. We have international support from King’s College London and the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK.

The theme of the conference is: Innovating digital technologies for creating safer cities in India. 

FORE International Conference on Digital Innovation 2018 is the seventh conference of the annual international conference series hosted by FORE School of Management (FSM), New Delhi. This year the Centre for Digital innovation, in partnership with Department of Management Studies, IITD, will be conducting the conference in December with an objective to provide a collaborative platform for researchers and experts to discuss the impact of digital technologies for creating safer cities in India.

CALL FOR PAPERS
We invite academicians, practitioners, research scholars and students to submit research papers and business cases in the area of Information Technology, Computer Science, Sociology, Social Work, CSR Researchers/Consultants. Authors are also encouraged to submit research work on topics not covered by the listed sub-themes but relevant to the overall Conference theme. 

CALL FOR POSTERS
The aim of the poster session is to create a lively and engaged discussion maximizing the opportunities for early-stage ideas exchange and interdisciplinary discussion on emerging or novel ideas/research. To achieve this we invite academicians and researchers to submit 1-2 page poster proposals.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Scope

The paper should fit into the general scope of the conference and be attributed to one of the conference tracks. We welcome interdisciplinary papers that combine social sciences with information and computer sciences.

Format and Paper Length

Research paper

Abstract: Authors are required to submit an abstract that includes the objectives and scope of the research, methodology and findings. The abstract should not exceed 1500 words. Kindly send in word format (12, Times New Roman, 1.5 spaced). Please submit only Extended Abstract as specified.
Full paper: Full papers should be submitted before November 1st, 2018 to be eligible for Best Paper Award and as a chapter in an edited book by a renowned publisher. Full papers are limited to a maximum of 10 to 12 pages.

Poster

In addition to the traditional competitive and interactive papers, we welcome posters to be presented in a dedicated poster session. The poster session at FICDI is designed to encourage early-stage work to get converted to high-impact contributions.
Here presenters will exhibit the poster they prepared in a large poster hall where all conference participants have the chance to walk by and engage in a fruitful conversation.
Submissions must conform to the following guidelines:
• The submission format for posters are extended abstracts of maximum 1,500 words (including references and other appendices). Submissions exceeding this threshold will be rejected without exception.
• Additionally, a short submission abstract (maximum 200 words) is required as a prerequisite for the FICDI proceedings in which all poster abstracts will be published as well.
• All abstracts should be prepared in Word format.
• Please make sure the extended abstract outlines the research gap, its relevance, the theoretical basis, intended method, and (if existing) preliminary results.
For the presentation of your project and discussion with viewers, it is helpful if you prepare a 5 minutes presentation and bring business cards as well as sketch paper, sticky notes, pens, and markers for discussion.
