The National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM) are holding their 13th Autumn School for post-doctoral researchers on 5th-7th November in Manchester.
This Autumn School has been designed to challenge you to think deeply about the topic of visualisation going beyond the typical “how to” training course.
The core of the training will be provided by Andy Kirk the renowned data visualisation expert. Keynotes will be provided by inspiring speakers each with their own unique take on the visual field.
A key aim is to explore how innovative quantitative and qualitative uses of visualisations can help us to see our social science research in new ways.
Who is it for?
There are 25 fully funded (travel, accommodation) places for social sciences researchers.
Priority will be given to early career researchers from across the UK social science community who are employed on research focused contracts.
There will be a small number of places available for final year PhD students and those who have submitted their thesis but not as yet been examined.
