Research Assistant - Data
Hours: 17.5 to 35 hours per week (negotiable, to be worked over at least three days a week)
Salary: £23,000 to £30,000 per annum FTE depending on experience, plus 6% contributory pension scheme
The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families supports distressed children and their families through innovative therapeutic practice and research, training and promoting awareness of mental health issues.
This position is based in the Child Outcomes Research Consortium (CORC) team. The mission of CORC is to promote the meaningful use of evidence to enable more effective child-centred support, services and systems to improve children and young people's mental health and wellbeing. We are recruiting a Research Assistant to contribute to a range of exciting initiatives including outcome feedback reports, wellbeing measurement and data linkage. The role involves validating, cleaning, analysing and managing data sets. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are interested in health research, data science or analytics, and are competent with the R programming language. Applicants may have previous work experience, or this could be their first post following graduation or completion of training.
The post-holder will be based at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, 1st Floor, Jordan House, 47 Brunswick Place, London N1 6EB and 12 Maresfield Gardens, London NW3 5SU. From Spring 2019, this post will be based at 4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH.
