A new fully funded 4 year full-time EU PhD studentship has arisen in my group at Maynooth University (Ireland) in the area of 'Drone Analytics for Environmental Monitoring'. The research programme will involve analysing ground truth, drone and satellite data for monitoring various environmental variables in Dublin bay. The successful student will develop methodology in the areas of Bayesian statistics, spatial modelling, neural networks, and multivariate analysis. The PhD studentship comprises a tax-free stipend of EUR18.5k over 4 years, a computing budget, and a generous travel allowance.
