The Transport Modelling Division of the Department of Management Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is looking for candidates to join the Division as a Research Assistant / PhD scholar, to start in September 2018 or later.
The successful applicant will work on a research project on integrated simulation of future car-sharing solutions, namely on the design, formulation and development of models and simulation capabilities for both the users and the operator of car-sharing services. A MSc / MEng background in computer or transportation science with skills in demand and network modelling, simulation and/or optimization is expected. The candidate will start as a Research Assistant with the possibility, give successful performance, to continue with a 3 year PhD scholarship.
This project is a partnership between DTU, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and General Motors (GM) Research, and the availability to travel to the United States is expected during the position.
