Hi Zoë,
I'm not personally aware of any in-depth of totally up-to-date data on the subject (in part because things are moving so quickly!) This recent paper by Davy, Sørlie and Schwend may be helpful though: http://journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.1177/0261018317731716.
Also, if you haven't already seen Pakistan's Transgender Person (Protection of Rights) Bill, (which has now been passed the legislature and is awaiting the President's signature), it's well worth a read: http://www.senate.gov.pk/uploads/documents/1520932539_231.pdf.

Subject: International comparison of Birth Certificate correction or other full legal equality
Does anyone have up-to-date worldwide data on countries where trans people can correct their Birth Certificates (as in New Zealand) or otherwise gain full legal equality? I don't mean cosmetic measures like the UK's Gender Recognition Certificates, but complete equality.
Any help gratefully received.
Best wishes
Zoë
