What is IN-PART?

IN-PART is an online matchmaking platform for university-industry collaboration that provides the initial introduction for new partnerships. We unlock innovation from research by helping businesses to develop new products, services, and technology from discoveries made in universities.

We currently work with over 120 world-leading universities across 6 continents to showcase the latest advances and developments made by their academics. We showcase these innovations on our platform (which is only accessible by R&D professionals in industry) and, through intelligent matchmaking algorithms and proactive community engagement, ensure that the most relevant people in industry are alerted to each new opportunity from academia. When there’s a match, our team provides the initial introduction, and then we cheers!

What is IN-PART: Discover?

Discover is an extension of IN-PART’s core matchmaking platform. Turning the system on its head, Discover provides companies with an opportunity to set a specific R&D challenge to our established and extended network of universities and research institutes. For the challenge that our industry partners outline, we conduct a global search for relevant opportunities within academia (experts, technologies, spin-outs, research projects, and centres of excellence). We then compile the results into a bespoke report, providing the introduction for opportunities that are of interest to the commissioning company.

Application Details:

Please provide your CV and a brief cover note outlining why you are interested in the internship to our Communications Manager ([log in to unmask]). The final date for applications is Monday 25th June, 9am. However, we will look to organise interviews for suitable candidates at the nearest possible opportunity.
