Dear colleagues,
The University of
Melbourne has opened applications for the
McKenzie Postdoctoral Fellowship round for 2019. This is a
university-wide, competitive post-doc
scheme. McKenzie Fellows will be employed at
Level A6 (approx. AUD $87,000 p.a.) for three years and will
receive
an additional $25,000 research project fund for the
duration of their Fellowship. Fellowships commence in
the period 1 January to 30 June
2019. The
Fellowships are open to recently graduated PhD students of
any nationality.
Applicants must have been awarded their PhD from 1
January 2016. See more at
https://research.unimelb.edu.au/support/funding/internal/mckenzie-fellowship
The Peter McMullin Centre on
Statelessness at Melbourne Law School would welcome
applications to this scheme that consider our centre as
their host institution. While we have no influence over the
selection process,
we would be happy to assist eligible candidates with an
interest in statelessness-related subjects with their
application. Melbourne Law School’s own
internal deadline for
expressions of interest (a CV and 2-3 page research
proposal) is Friday, 20 July 2018.
Further information is available here.
Please
forward this to any interested recent PhD graduates, or
contact me if you are interested in applying to this scheme
with us a host institution in mind.
Best
wishes,
Christoph
