Hi Samantha,
Am using NGT at the moment. Unfortunately, for a whole host of reasons the NGT relay service won't work for receiving calls over multiple phones. There may be a workaround for returning calls though.
Regards
Alistair

Subject: Using the telephone on placement

Dear All I have a profoundly deaf
student who has a hearing aid and a cochlear implant, but
relies mostly on lip-reading. They are required to use the
telephone on clinical placement (it could be multiple
telephones). A telephone amplifier is very unlikely to be
helpful, so I am investigating other options. One option I
am looking at is a telephone adaptor for a roger pen. The
student has also suggested NGT, however I don’t know
how practical this would be for a clinical
environment.
I wondered if
anyone had any other suggestions or experience that may
help? Many thanks in advance. Kind
regards Samantha
