Job vacancy - Digital Impact and Communications Officer
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong writing skills who wants to use their passion for digital communications to help build stronger connections with the archive sector.
The National Archives is the archive sector lead and in 2017 we launched a new strategic vision Archives Unlocked. The new Digital Impact and Communications Officer will play a key role in communicating how The National Archives and partners are working to deliver the vision and showing people from across the sector how to get involved.
The Digital Impact and Communications Officer will take part in exciting new initiatives, including working with a team, including digital experts, to revitalise the Archive Sector Development website, delivering our engaging social media content including twitter and blogs and working with our successful Marketing and Communications team to drive up the standards of our communications with the sector. The post-holder will also be able to get involved with our new e-learning initiative and will have the opportunity to gain skills in diverse areas such as creating and editing short video clips.
