Yes, in terms of regulation there is a distinction between dust (nuisance) and particulate matter (human health).  Cheers, Don.

Ladies & Gentlemen

I posted an article on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/when-dust-peter-fleming a little while ago where I argued the case for not calling PM10 dust. My main concern has been public perception particularly when local residents see dust settling on their window sills etc and get worried about what it is doing to their lungs. I would be interested to know how others view this.
