Hallo everybody!
Many of you will know that I have been involved with Air Quality since the 1990s. (Yes before some of you were born!)
I asked Paul Nathanail to set this up as I found [log in to unmask] useful but I am more interested in (or is that passionate about) Air Quality. ( It had to be set up by someone with an .ac.uk email so I could not be the list owner. My hope is that I can help those of you who are starting out so that I can "pass on the baton". My understanding is that JISCMail was originally for those in academic institutions and it does require a certain proportion of academics to be on the list ( especially those with .ac.uk addresses. However, not all knowledge is found in universities and I know that there is a special need for beleaguered Local Air Quality Officers. Any others are most welcome but this is not somewhere to promote commercial interests.
I am looking forward to answering a few technical/scientific questions though.
Spread the word!
Regards
Peter Fleming

Hello
I am Stuart Moore of Broadland District Council. I am relatively new to air quality and this I'm hoping this group will be able to help me deepen my understanding and knowledge of air quality.

As listowner, I see every person who joins the list. So far there are about 15-20 folks on this list. Most are from. Gov.uk addresses
In these early days perhaps each of us could say what our interest in air quality is.
Mine is very limited to understanding how dusts / airborne particulates behave... partly as a risk assessor as it has been an issue for me in a couple of recent expert witness cases.
