PhD in Engineering, University of Glasgow, UK
At the School of Engineering, we have now a number of PhD studentships available for BEng/MEng students graduating this year, i.e. to start their Postgraduate Research (PhD) programme in Oct 2018.
Info on our Graduate School: https://www.gla.ac.uk/colleges/scienceengineering/graduateschool/postgraduateresearchstudy/
To be eligible of a scholarship you should satisfy the eligibility criteria of EPSRC, https://epsrc.ukri.org/skills/students/help/eligibility/.
Normally, to be eligible for a full award a student must have no restrictions on how long they can stay in the UK and have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least 3 years prior to the start of the studentship.
Normally if you are a final year BEng or MEng student with (on track to) first class honours or 2:1 degree, you are eligible to apply.
If you would like to apply for one of those studentships and to pursue PhD research under my supervision, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss potential projects (Connected/Automated Vehicles, Transport/Traffic Systems, Operations Research, Control, etc.). More info here: https://www.gla.ac.uk/schools/engineering/staff/konstantinosampountolas/
Deadline to apply: June 4, 2018.
Feel free to forward this message to potentially interested students. Apologies for cross posting.
Best regards,
Dr. Konstantinos Ampountolas
