Are you passionate about science demonstrations, both their history and their future? The Ri has a unique opportunity for someone to develop and deliver demonstrations as part of our public and family programmes, including playing a key part in an influential national event, broadcast on the BBC, the CHRISTMAS LECTURES.
Job Title: Science Content Assistant
Accountable to: Science Content Producer
Location: 21 Albemarle Street, London
Contract type: 12 months Fixed term contract – to June 2019- full time, 35 hours per week
Salary: Circa £25,000 per annum
The role
This role will allow the Ri to continue its proud history of science demonstrations. You will work closely with the Science Content Producer to develop and deliver demonstrations as part of our public and family programmes. This will include:
• being a key player in the annual CHRISTMAS LECTURES and their associated schools activities
• assisting in the development and building of demonstration props
