Mother Nature Science is looking for professional, inspirational and energetic Science Presenters to join their teams in Harrow and Kingston!
Title: Science Presenter
Job Type: Permanent - Part-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday 15:30 to 16:30 for after school clubs or between 10:00 and 17:30 on Saturdays and Sundays for parties.
Salary: Up to £30 per session + mileage where applicable
Location: Harrow (HA1) and Kingston (KT3)
Start Date: ASAP
About you: Our ideal candidates are professional, enthusiastic, passionate, inspirational, dynamic and energetic individuals with a keen interest in promoting fun, stimulating learning for children. They will be responsible for facilitating hands-on, interactive science demonstrations to children of primary age.
The Role: You will be working as a Science Presenter ensuring our programmes are delivered to the highest possible standard at all times. Full training will be provided; but experience is advantageous.
Candidates must have the following attributes:
- Professional and Punctual;
- A passion for working with children;
- Good rapport with children;
- Sense of humour to win the interest of children;
- A confident presentational manner;
-Have, or would be prepared to get a full DBS check.
Following attributes are preferable:
- Have some experience of working with children aged between 5 and 12;
- A science background;
- First Aid
- A car owner (or Access to a car)
About Mother Nature Science: We specialize in providing entertaining educational programmes to primary school children. Our outreach programmes provide fun science activities to 5-12-year-old children through our "After school clubs" and "in-school workshops" that take place at local primary schools, and birthday parties that take place at private venues chosen by parents.
