Apologies for cross-postings
The COST action "MOLIM: Molecules in Motion" is organizing a Training School between 26-30 June, 2018 in the beautiful town of Torun (Poland) devoted to high precision spectroscopy (including both theory and experiment on a more or less equal footing). For further details about the BETS Training School, please visit http://bets-molim.faj.org.pl/.
For your convenience, here is the list of trainers and the topics covered:
Tucker Carrington: First-principle rovibrational computations (theory)
Nikku Madhusudhan: High precision spectroscopy as a tool of astrochemistry (experiment)
Michael Tarbutt: Spectroscopy of cold molecules (experiment)
Piotr Żuchowski: Spectroscopy of cold molecules (theory)
Mariusz Puchalski: Electronic structure methods for few-electron systems (theory)
Daniel Lisak: Cavity enhanced spectroscopy (experiment)
Piotr Masłowski: Direct optical frequency spectroscopy (experiment)
Tamás Szidarovszky: Quantum dynamics with applications in rovibrational dynamics in external fields (theory)
Maximilian Beyer: High precision spectroscopy of molecular hydrogen and its ion (experiment)
There are still places available for the School. Note that all reasonable expenses for those coming from the EU and whose country is part of MOLIM (please check http://cost-molim.eu) will be covered by reimbursements from MOLIM and all applications will now be considered on a first-come-first-served basis.
If you are a PhD student or an early-career investigator, please consider applying. If you are a senior member of the community, please distribute this information to your PhD students and early-career investigators so that they can apply to the School. For further details please send an email to Dr. Dariusz Kedziera ([log in to unmask]).
Thanks and best regards,
Attila Csaszar
Chair of MOLIM
