Good morning - this is a fairly 'long shot' but does anyone have an image of a Meta brick that they would be happy for me to use on a free mining heritage walks app/website if full credits are given.
The colliery and brick works were at Fishcross, Clackmannanshire, Scotland. The colliery closed in 1959 and NCB eventually sold the adjacent brickworks in the 1960s to the Scottish Brick Company. It finally closed in 1981. There are plenty of bricks stamped SBC lying around but none stamped META.
Many thanks
Catherine
