Hello everyone, and happy Friday afternoon!
I'm pleased to announce I've just booked a site for a brand new library
learning festival we're calling LibraryCampCamp. It will be largely
unconference in style (like a Library Camp), but will run for 24hrs on a
campsite in Staffordshire.

Anyone vaguely associated with libraries (from any sector) is welcome to
come, along with friends and family, though unfortunately not dogs
(campsite rules!). If enough children and partners come along, we'll
investigate extra activities aimed explicitly at children (lots of
activities are available on site! There may be an extra cost of up to
£10pp depending on the activity).
At the moment, we expect to start early afternoon during the Saturday,
run a variety of activities during the day. People can camp onsite (you
need to provide your own kit!) during Saturday night, activities will
continue Sunday morning and we'll finish Sunday lunchtime. This
timetable will be firmed up as the event gets closer, as the nature of
an unconference type event means that it is largely formed by who
chooses to attend.
There are also hotel rooms a short drive away, but not onsite. There are
train stations a few miles away (we'll try and enable taxi sharing, or
more help if possible...), plus plenty of parking onsite. There is also
an option available for people who want to stay onsite but don't have a
tent / caravan!
A range of tickets are available from the Eventbrite page:

More information will be available as we get closer to the festival:

Andy
