The CONNECTlab is hiring a postdoc with experience in EEG- and/or fMRI-based connectivity. The lab ( https://connectlab.beckman.illinois.edu ) is located at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Beckman Institute offers a multi-disciplinary collaborative research environment, two Siemens PRISMA 3T scanners and cutting-edge multi-modal neuroimaging. The CONNECTlab focuses on the significance of large-scale neural communication and intrinsic brain activity for cognitive control and behavior. We use EEG, fMRI and concurrent EEG-fMRI combined with whole-brain connectivity and network neuroscience approaches in healthy participants as well as psychiatric (major depression) and neurological (stroke, systemic viral infections) populations. Funding is available for two years with possibility of extension.
The successful candidate is expected to have extensive experience in data analysis (MATLAB, Python or similar) and in research using EEG and/or fMRI. Priority will be given to candidates with experience in connectivity approaches in either modality. The position is open immediately and until filled. Please send your CV and a short statement of interests to Dr. Sepideh Sadaghiani (sepideh AT Illinois.edu)
