Dr. William “Scott” Killgore is a clinical neuropsychologist whose research focuses on understanding the brain systems involved in emotional processes and cognitive performance. His work combines neurocognitive assessment with state-of-the-art neuroimaging methods to study the role of emotion in complex cognitive processes such as moral judgment, decision-making, and risk-taking. Current federally funded projects include neuroimaging studies of novel treatments to improve sleep in patients recovering from mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as projects aimed at bolstering resilience and emotional intelligence, and understanding the relationship between personality and responses to stress.
Dr. Killgore is looking for a program manager for his extremely active and vibrant lab. This position would provide primary logistical and management oversight for multiple research projects, grant funding, regulatory affairs, and day-to-day personnel issues. The program manager will be responsible for managing a large group of trained research technicians, several postdoctoral fellows, and numerous student volunteers at any one time. The program manager will oversee the day-to-day operation of one of the largest behavioral/neuroscience laboratories on campus.
Minimum qualifications include: A Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of lab management experience, 2+ years of grant management experience.
