we are looking for an external panel member on the 20th and 21st June 2018 to participate in the validation of 4 top-up programmes:
BSc Computer Networks and Security
BSc Computer Science
BSc Computer Forensic Investigation
BSc Cybersecurity
The event is to approve running our existing degrees to be run by our collaborative partner organisation in Singapore.
The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:
Has experience of managing or operating collaborative arrangements;
Has knowledge and familiarity with the Academic Infrastructure and other external reference points such as those of professional, statutory and regulatory bodies;
Has understanding and experience of current practice and developments in teaching, learning and assessment in higher education;
Has familiarity with academic support strategies;
Has experience with examining and/or verification (and preferably external examining or external verification);
Has familiarity with the standards of higher education awards in colleges and universities in the United Kingdom;
Has expertise relevant to the Computing field of study concerned;
Is not affiliated in any way (nor have been so affiliated within the previous five years) to a subject area in an institution from which the relevant Department currently draws or supplies (or has drawn or supplied within the previous five years) an external panel member or external examiner, unless discrete subjects are involved;
Is not affiliated to the University in any way (nor have been so affiliated within the previous five years), nor have been closely associated (professionally or personally or otherwise) to someone who is affiliated to the University (or has been so affiliated within the previous five years);
Has no previous involvement with the partner organisation.
