Subject: For circulation?
Hi Pat,
Just dropping a line to circulate the upcoming film event at the National (Apologies if you’ve already seen advertised elsewhere!!)
The Stuart Hall Project (Film Screening) Mon 21 May – Link below:
https://www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/shows/stuart-hall-project-film-screening
It goes without saying that Hall was one of the most important voices in the emerging race, class, and gender struggles of the time, but was also a clear an insightful voice in the decolonizing of whitewashed knowledges & histories. More broadly, it falls under the ‘Nine Night’ Series of events accompanying the production – also at the National Theatre - which it seems couldn’t have come at a more critical time in light of the violent injustices being experienced by so many today.

Very Best
