The Byron Society PhD Bursary
If you are already working on a PhD on Byron, or interested in doing so, apply for The Byron Society PhD Bursary.
The purpose of this bursary is to encourage contributions to academic research on any aspect of the life, work and influence of Lord Byron. The value of the bursary is £9,000 (£3,000 per year).
Eligibility:
Applications are welcomed from prospective students accepted for enrolment as a full-time PhD student at a UK university.
We also welcome applications from existing full-time PhD students at UK universities, and funding can be applied for on a single-year or full-course basis.
Eligible applicants must be working on a topic related to Byron. Should the PhD research topic cover multiple poets and authors then the funding will be apportioned out accordingly.
