The University wishes to appoint innovative and ambitious individuals with integrity, energy, and a passion for their work. The postholders will deliver on the objectives of a series of disease-focused work packages associated with a major generously funded stratified medicine project, working at the interface between systems biology/bioinformatics, genomics, and medicine. Core duties will be research focused, but will also include delivery of innovative specialist undergraduate and postgraduate taught provision in stratified medicine and the proposed new Graduate Entry Medical School. The posts will involve close engagement with end users including the health service and the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industry. Applicants must have research outputs which are eligible for inclusion in the next UK Research Excellence Framework (REF).
