The social statistics section of the RSS is organising a meeting on how
travel by cyclists and pedestrians can be mapped and investments evaluated.
The meeting will be at Errol St in London EC1, from 5-7pm. As this will be
like a London local group with talks about travel in the city it can be
popular, so please register:

Phil Howes and Rob Forrest (TfL) will talk about the prediction models used
to support cycling and walking planning in London and how effective they
are: http://content.tfl.gov.uk/londons-strategic-transport-models.pdf
Rachel Aldred (University of Westminster) will talk about the recent
min-Hollands investments and progress with evaluation in such settings
Nico Jabin (Dft) will offer some reflections on the challenges of local
evaluation of transport investments in such dynamic contexts
Any questions about the event, please let me know
