Subject: Reminder: Pre-ISBA workshop on intractable likelihood at Newcastle, UK (20-22 June 2018)
There will be an i-like workshop in Newcastle (NE England) on Wed 20th - Fri 22nd June, just before the main ISBA conference in Edinburgh (a 90 minute train ride away). We have some top-line speakers (Jeff Rosenthal, Jim Griffin, Ruth King, Chris Oates), two j-ISBA sessions, contributed speaker sessions and a poster session. The workshop will fund local expenses for those accepted to give talks (2-3 nights accommodation etc). We also have a limited number of bursaries available to cover the registration fee for female attendees as part of Newcastle University's equality and diversity initiatives.
Newcastle has an international airport with direct connections to local hubs (Heathrow, Gatwick, Amsterdam, Dublin, Paris).
Please visit the workshop website (https://conferences.ncl.ac.uk/ilike2018/) for more information and to register.
