Dear Tony,

Thank you for this it looks very interesting.

On another note, I emailed you yesterday but I not sure if you received at as it did have 'SPAM' the return address.

Please could you help with the following questions as we are very interested in the way in which you are temperature monitoring:

Please can you tell me a bit more about this infra-red thermometer gun that you use?

1)Do you have to allow it to equilibrate in an area?

2)How frequently do you check areas which you find to be compliant?

3)Do you have the details of the supplier and could you give me a rough estimate of cost?

4)Are there any other costs apart from the calibration cost?

Thank you in advance,

Mary

Subject: POCT Networking Event

Hi Users

I wanted to make you aware of a POCT Networking Day that I have arranged. It is being held on the 3rd July at the Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall hotel, 3 miles from Gloucester station and just off the M5. It's a great location for an event like this.

Events are rarely held in the West and I have chosen Gloucester as the location in order to maximise the ability of staff involved in the use and provision of POCT and Pathology to attend. There will be 10 presentations aimed at communicating changes within the NHS followed by more concentrated POCT themes. There is also an exhibition of at least 10 vendors who have kindly supported the day.

I hope there is a good attendance at the day and the opportunity to network with like minded individuals isn't missed. These days are the best way to share best practice and hear from experts who have encountered issues and resolved them.

The event email address is: [log in to unmask]

I have attached the agenda and booking details. I hope to see you at what will hopefully prove to be a very effective and well attended day.
