Subject: Writing Football
Dear all,
I am very sorry that it took me so long, but I can now finally confirm that our conference on the Beautiful Game this summer will take place in Dortmund (Jul 12-14). I've given the event the title "Writing Football", but please feel free to talk about anything football-related at all. As you can see, we'll spend one day at the DFB museum (including a tour of the permanent exhibition) and will move to the university for Friday and Saturday. The official programme will probably start around noon on Thursday, but please feel invited to arrive on Wednesday, so we can watch the second World Cup semi-final together.
As you know, we do not have a Mr Lynch in Dortmund, so it does not look as if we can cover any travel costs etc. But if you need an official invitation to have your university or any other organisation reimburse you, just let me know.
I hope to see you all in Dortmund in July! Spread the CfP among friends, colleagues or anybody else who might be interested!
All the best,
Cyprian
