Definitely. As 'dry' as some might find it, it's marginally fascinating
as it suggests Google Analytics /is/ and needs to be considered within
the bounds of GDPR compliance.
Up to now most commentary had suggested (at least in most commn cases) t
was exempt - aka if your website GA configuration is respecting both ‘do
not track’ in users’ browser settings and is anonymising IP addresses
(i.e. there's no custom GA reporting of personal data enabled on the
site), then Google Analytics data does not fall under GDPR as long as
Google's terms of use are respected.
