Hi Anna,
As public bodies, NHS hospitals are supposed to place their records with the local county archives.

Subject: Historical information about NHS organisations
Hello
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where we can access historical information about NHS bodies? For example, if a hospital no longer exists, how do we find out which Trust / other organisation it (services, staff, etc) was absorbed into? Where would this closure and transfer of services be documented?
Any ideas gratefully received!
Kind regards
Anna
