We have 6 colleges around central London and they all have dedicated OPACs running Public Web Browser. There's about 25 PCs delivering the locked-down service. We have a site licence- the software is very easy to configure and support (when it has been necessary... maybe twice in 8 years or so!) has been almost instantaneous.

Hi Tom
We use some software called SiteKiosk. Our IT team did most of the setup and we just specified what we would like to work/not work.
It's very comprehensive and has been in place for around 18 months now.

Subject: [lis-e-resources] Kiosk Software in the HE library environment
Hi All,
Does anyone have any experience with using Kiosk software when providing student access to the online catalogue aspect of their LMS?
This type of software enables a workstation/client to be set up and locked down to only be able to access a bespoke list or URLs and Windows Tools.
Any information on vendors, user experiences, products, greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks
Tom
