LIEM is offering a one-day training event for staff working in library, information and archives services to help you:
• Increase your personal influence and build working relationships
• Develop an influencing strategy for critical events and projects
• Adapt your behaviour to manage conflicting views and demands
• Decide when and how to make your case assertively or negotiate a workable compromise

Personal action planning
Through practical exercises, group discussion, and personal action planning the course will help you develop a range of practical skills and tools to gain the co-operation of others and to create effective and professional working relationships.
The training day will be held at the Nottinghamshire Archives Office running 9.30 – 16.45
Lunch will be provided. Coffee and refreshments will be available on arrival from 9.15 am and throughout the day.
