Make the most of our late night research opportunity in May and June
Throughout May and June 2018, The National Archives is introducing a new late night research opportunity by extending our Thursday opening hours until 21.00.
This new opportunity aims to enable you to conduct meaningful research after a normal working day. Our reading rooms and reference library will be available for use, as well as other onsite facilities such as our new exhibition ‘Suffragette vs The State’ (opens 8 May) and our downstairs coffee bar.
To take advantage of our late night research opportunity, original documents should be ordered in advance (before 16.00) and if you are new to The National Archives you must pre-register for a readers ticket online<http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/about/visit-us/researching-here/do-i-need-a-readers-ticket/> before arriving so that you can advance-order and view your documents.
Make the most of this new opportunity for researching our vast collections and let us know what you think. You can find out more details on our new late night opening here<http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/about/news/late-night-opening-thursdays-may-june-2018/>.
Kindest regards,
Nicola
