New Books in Conceptual Anthropology
Dear friends and colleagues,
Two new books are out in April 2018, which offer a new
insight into two major cultural matters:
1- SEEING THE INVISIBLE is analyzing the religious concepts and the
philosophical thinking of a people coming directly from a
hunting-gathering way of life: a fascinating journey into the
imaginary adventures of the human mind and on the origins of religion
(Italian Edition).
2- THE ROCK ART OF TANZANIA is the first analytical synthesis of
Tanzania multi-millenary sequence of stylistic and typological
horizons of rock art. Besides putting order in the succession and age
of periods, the book is presenting two major cultural and historical
issues: one on the unwritten early chapters of the history of East
Africa, and the other on the origins of art (English Edition).
