Dear colleagues
Just to let you know that my book, Bethlehem’s Syriac Christians: Self, nation and church in dialogue and practice<https://www.gorgiaspress.com/bethlehems-syriac-christians>, is available on Gorgias Press.
It looks at how Syriac-Aramean Christians situate themselves in the radically changed environment of the Bethlehem area and especially at how the Qurbono (Eucharist) is involved in Syriac self-formation in Palestine. It draws on environmental anthropology, work on narrative and dialogue, as well as on ritual theory and the Anthropology of Christianity.
Gorgias have a very reasonable approach to discounting for students and teachers who wish to use their titles and can be contacted at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
Thanks for your interest.
