Dear colleagues,
If you were an active member of the Transport Visions Network (TVN) which ran from 2000-2003 then I'm pleased to say that 'we're putting the band back together'.
The TVN was conceived by myself, Kiron Chatterjee, Greg Marsden and Mark Beecroft (all then in the Transportation Research Group at Southampton University and all under 35). From 2000 to 2003 this network of some 250 young professionals explored the future of transport and produced a series of eight reports published by Landor.
Under the Blues Brothers strapline of 'we're putting the band back together' a LinkedIn Group has now been set up which all those from the TVN who actively participated (i.e. who were named in one or more of the eight reports - 149 people in total) are eligible to join.
The LinkedIn Group is called 'Transport Visions Network - Revisited' and can be found at https://www.linkedin.com/groups/8657509
The aims is to reconnect everyone, find out where we all are now, share our views and perhaps consider some new adventures.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Glenn, Kiron, Greg and Mark
P.S. A list of those people who we hope are keen to rejoin the band is available at https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=6285122789074173735#editor/target=post;postID=1325696230015474857;onPublishedMenu=allposts;onClosedMenu=allposts;postNum=0;src=postname
