Dear all,
The Cognomics Initiative is happy to announce the third edition of the Radboud Summer School “Brain Imaging Genetics: Genetics for Imagers” in Nijmegen on 13-17 August, 2018.
Our biennial course is directed at neuroimaging researchers, who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in state‐of‐the‐art developments in imaging genetics.
This intensive one-week program covers various aspects of genetics analyses of neuroimaging data, starting from very basic knowledge of genetic variation and the basis of inheritance all the way to genome-wide association testing and polygenic risk scores. The lectures will be supplemented with hands‐on computer exercises and demonstrations. We will also show how to genotype single nucleotide polymorphisms and score the genotypes in the molecular lab.
The faculty includes researchers involved in the largest imaging genetics consortium world‐wide – the ENIGMA Consortium – and the Dutch Cognomics Program.
The evenings will be reserved for social activities, organized in the context of the Radboud Summer School Program or the amongst the Brain Imaging Genetics course participants. A Radboud Summer School certificate will be handing out to each participant during the closing ceremony on Friday afternoon.
Early bird deadline: 1 April 2018 (10% discount)
