Job Purpose
A government department is looking to recruit a record manager to join a team working to maximise the department's mastery of its data and the effective management of its information. As a record manager you will deliver advice and ensure compliance with records management standards and best practice.
Key Job Responsibilities
As a member of a team of records managers you would be working closely with a number of teams for whom you will have assigned responsibility. You will be able to develop a strong understanding of the aims and objectives of the team and the wider department and by providing records management expertise, you will enable the team to derive maximum benefit from its information. This will enhance the team's delivery of its strategic goals.
You will need to have knowledge and experience of electronic records management systems (EDRMS), enabling you to contribute to strategic planning on information management and structuring, and to teams' use of information at their disposal.
