**Reminder and deadline extension**
Dear all
Please find below the call for abstracts for the 2018 BSA Human Reproduction Annual Conference which is taking place on Thursday 24th May at De Montfort University. You will see that this years conference titled 'Reproduction and the law: transformations, responsibilities and uncertainties in the 21st century' is focusing on socio-legal aspects of human reproduction.
This full-day conference welcomes theoretical, methodological and empirical papers from social science researchers as well as legal scholars addressing socio-legal aspects of human reproduction including, but not limited to: abortion, pre-natal care and screening, birth, infant death, surrogacy, artificial games, reproductive donation, reproductive tissue freezing, genetics, genome editing, and assisted conception.
We are delighted to announce that we have Professor Emily Jackson from the LSE as our plenary who will be talking about:'Law, Reproduction and Public Health: abortion, assisted conception and unintended consequences'
Given the recent strike activity of which many of our colleagues have been engaged ,we are extending the deadline for abstract submission to Wednesday 21st March.
