Dear All,
Posting (with approval of survey author) to lis-medical and to clin-lib in case you did not see it on MEDLIB-L. Yale medical librarians are investigating librarian involvement in reviewing systematic reviews, for a presentation at MLA this year.
We have a security system that can do strange things to links, so I have made this a plain text email to thwart it. The link should begin "yalesurvey". If it begins "vsea" then the security has got to it and you can let me know.
Best wishes,
Keith

Subject: Have you reviewed systematic review manuscripts? (5-min survey)
Colleagues,
Yale medical librarians are investigating librarian involvement in reviewing systematic reviews, specifically how frequently librarians are serving as journal reviewers for the methodology of systematic review manuscripts. We believe that librarians and information professionals could play a more significant role in peer reviewing the searches submitted to journals and that this would improve compliance with recommended standards. We need your help!
Please complete this short survey that will take no more than 5 minutes. Note: we’re interested in all responses – from those who have been involved in the peer review process and also those who have not.
SURVEY: https://yalesurvey.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eaj9fOhQsDca2Bn
Please help us distribute the survey widely but complete it only once. The survey will close on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 5:00pm.
The results of our study will be reported in a poster (#69) at the Medical Library Association’s Annual Meeting in Atlanta in May. Please stop by! If you have any questions, let me know.
Thank you very much for your participation.
