Hi Bennett
I think the data is available to answer your horrendous enquiry, it is just that putting it together will be a pain!
Hospital Episode Statistics collect it, and operative procedures have codes as specified in the data dictionary
http://content.digital.nhs.uk/hesdatadictionary
This data is how the individual providers, i.e. NHS Trusts, get paid and you would need to get a total for the relevant codes from each of their collections
In the past HES have helped with enquiries, so it might be worth asking them
I would get back to requester and explain this process and whether they think it is worth that effort, and if they would care to help!?
Alternatively, might be able to get a figure for your Trust from Finance and base an estimate on that?
Hopefully someone will have an easier answer!
Best Wishes
